A very powerful scene when the Spirit opens his robe revealing two small, dirty, frightened children huddled at his feet.

"This boy is Ignorance," the spirit says,
"This girl is want. Beware of them both,
but most of all beware of this boy,
for on his brow I see that written which is Doom,
unless the writing be erased.

Deny it! . . . And bide the end."

- Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol (1841)

Hitler

In 1919 Soviet State education was made compulsory -
homeschooling was abolished.
In 1938 Hitler abolished homeschooling in Nazi Germany.

Lenin

FOLLOW THEIR LEAD - SUPPORT THE ABOLITION OF HOMESCHOOLING!

Got your attention? In the US homeschooling is legal in all 50 States. This is a wonderful ratification of the natural rights of parents to educate their own children, recognized by the U.S. Supreme Court. But protecting this right requires vigilance. In 1919 Lenin made State education universally compulsory in the Soviet Union. In 1938 Adolf Hitler prohibited homeschooling in Nazi Germany. They wanted all children indoctrinated in their own versions of political correctness. Efforts to restrict or prohibit home education inevitably arise from the same - totalitarian - mentality of forced indoctrination in whatever modern version of political correctness is dominant. Don't take it for granted -support the freedom to homeschool!

"Either ethics must be restored to school curricula or realistic hope of restoring morality must be abandoned until that happens."

ETHICS (9th to 12th grade) Highly Recommended!
"Ethics has as its basic premise the idea that morality is permanently and essentially inscribed in human life and that each person constantly faces moments of decision. There is danger in our being subject to the pressures of different ideologies and customs, but when we know the foundations of ethics, we become more sensitive to moral issues and the moral implications of our decisions."
